I removed the site links from this page because I am redoing them with custom Landsat-9 satellite maps. Site web pages include maps, book photos, new photos from my collection not seen before, and thoughts about the site.
The photos in this section will begin appearing in 2025–2026. They include biblical and non-biblical sites, ancient synagogues, churches, memorials, and so on. The intent is to show you the land of Israel in historical terms, regardless of the period involved, ancient or modern.
I’m back in Israel now (July 2025), posting where I am and what I’m doing on my Facebook page. I put up notices there when I add pages here.
*Northern Israel covers the Galilee from Dan in the north to Jezreel in the south. It also covers Mt. Hermon, Mt. Carmel, and the Golan Heights.
*Central Israel covers the central mountain range from Samaria in the north to Hebron in the south. It also covers the Judean Shephelah and the Coastal Plain.
*Southern Israel covers the Negev from Beersheba in the north to Kadesh Barnea in the south. It also covers the Lower Jordan Valley and the Aravah to Elath.
