This website is designed to help you explore the lands of the Bible through photography, maps, historical background, and teaching resources. View south from the path below from Mt. Arbel: The western shore of the Sea of Galilee stretches toward modern Tiberias. The sunlit mound at center is Tel Rakat, while the Golan Heights rise beyond the lake’s eastern shore.

Israel's Capernaum National Park

View east: Kfar Nahum (Capernaum) National Park on the northern shore of the Sea of Galilee. The ancient ruins of Capernaum lie just beyond the park to the east.
