It explores the historical setting of Isaiah’s ministry, the prophet’s warnings to Judah and the surrounding nations, and his teachings concerning covenant, judgment, repentance, the latter days, and the establishment of Zion. Throughout these chapters, Isaiah’s prophecies look beyond approaching destruction to the coming of the Messiah—the righteous King who will gather, redeem, and reign over His people.
